We want your view on licensed trade

We are inviting local people and businesses to comment on the Licensing Policy - the document that sets out how the council licenses the premises and people within its boundaries.  From August 1 to October 31, the council wants views on a revision to the policy to make sure it continues to reflect the opinions of residents and businesses in the borough.

Repair priorities review

When a repair to a council home is reported we assess its severity and the length of time it’s going to take to do the repair. We are currently reviewing our repair priorities to make them simpler and are keen to hear tenants' views on the proposed changes.

Tell us what’s important to you!

The Borough Council’s Overview and Scrutiny Committees are inviting local residents to submit ideas to be included in their work programmes for 2010/11. If you have a suggestion that you think might be suitable - let us know.

Forward Plan

The Forward Plan lists "key" Cabinet decisions likely to be made over the next four months. These decisions may be made by the Cabinet or, occasionally, by individual Members or Officers of the Council acting under delegated authority. The plan is updated and rolled forward every month. It gives information about the subject involved and shows who will make the decision and when it will be made. The Plan also gives information about any consultation prior to the decision being made and advice on how you can make representations.

Planning policy consultation

A wide range of consultations are being carried out on the Council's emerging Local Development Framework (LDF)

Development Control Customer Satisfaction Surveys

To monitor the satisfaction of Development Control customers, surveys are sent monthly to applicants who submitted planning applications, neighbours who were consulted on planning applications, and to members of the public who have made complaints regarding possible breaches of planning control. Results of the surveys will be published when all data has been collated and analysed.
